I have roles setup in my SSAS cube for different users. In the Targit documentation, it says to set the impersonation to Standard in order for the individual users credentials transferred to the Analysis Services database. I tried setting it to standard but received errors when accessing the analysis through the web client that used this cube. How can I make sure that the rights setup in the cube are used in Targit?

You need to ensure that SPN's are setup correctly on your network. There's a guide in the TARGIT Installation and Configuration Guide for doing this. This is however not a trivial task and you will need to involve the Active Directory admin.

So, if you have the impersonation set to None, does that mean users can see all the data in the cubes even if they're restricted through roles in the cube?

If you choose "None" that means the user the ANTserver is using to connect will be the one thats passed onto the SSAS Cube.
When 'None' is chosen you can configure security by taking advantage of the roles you can configure inside TARGIT Management.
