TARGIT Fundamentals

TARGIT Fundamentals is a course for you with little to none experience with TARGIT Decision Suite. It's designed to teach you how to work with TARGIT Decision Suite as an analytics tool, and how to design analyses and dashboards, for consumption by yourself and your colleagues.

 

Requirements
The course requires a basic knowledge of operating standard Windows applications.

Requirements
The course requires basic skills for creating TARGIT analyses. Basic knowledge about data relations is an advantage as well.

The course will give you the fundamental knowledge that you need to implement a multi-dimensional data warehouse. After completing the course, you’ll be able to implement minor adjustments and additions to your data warehouse.

 

Requirements
The course does not require previous training. During the course, you’ll primarily be working on building and designing a multi-dimensional data warehouse in a Microsoft SQL Server environment. No matter your level of knowledge and expertise, TARGIT's experienced instructors will guide you through the course.

The course will give you advanced knowledge of the implementation of data warehouses for the use of business intelligence. After completing the course, you'll be able to implement a variety of data warehouses - multi-dimensional, relational, or tabular data warehouses - from scratch.

 

Requirements
The course requires knowledge of multi-dimensional data warehouses equivalent to the level represented in the TARGIT Data Warehouse Developer Basic course. During the course, you'll be working on further developing a multi-dimensional data warehouse while including optimization and best practices. Additionally, you'll learn to design alternative data warehouses: relational and tabular mode.

Certified Specialist Exam

You are already TARGIT Super User or a TARGIT Consultant, and you need the certification proving your excellent skills with the TARGIT Decision Suite. Become a TARGIT Certified Specialist by earning the seal of approval for your extensive knowledge of TARGIT.

 

TARGIT Certified Specialist is offered online and at select locations throughout the world.

 

Requirements
To become certified, you must prove your Designer skills in the TARGIT front-end. You can achieve this by having completed the courses mentioned below. To pass the exam, you’ll need to be thoroughly versed in all aspects as a Designer of the TARGIT front-end. You’ll be required to design a number of dashboards, analyses, and reports within a set time frame of 2½ hours. To pass the exam, you must have completed a minimum of 70 percent of the total assignment correctly.

Certified Professional Exam

You're already a developer of SQL Server data warehouses and/or a professional TARGIT Consultant. Still, you need proof of your skills in handling the technical back-end of a TARGIT solution.

 

TARGIT Certified Professional is offered online and at select locations throughout the world.

 

Requirements
To become certified, you must have completed the courses mentioned below. To pass the exam, you’ll need to be thoroughly versed in the areas within each course. Within a set time frame of 5 hours, you’ll be required to solve various practical tasks that consist of designing one or more data warehouses. You’ll also be tested on the most important administrative functions in the TARGIT Management Studio. To pass the exam, you must have solved a minimum of 70 percent of the total assignment correctly.
